Free Printable Valentine’s Day Color By Number
Color-by-number sheets are fun for all ages, but are especially good practice for younger kids who are learning number recognition. Parents or teachers can add colors to the color words for kids who aren’t reading yet (for example, underline the word “red” with a red crayon and repeat for the other colors).
Plus, coloring is a wonderful activity for developing those essential fine motor skills kids will need for writing. In fact, there are a number of developmental benefits to coloring for kids.

Now go grab the kids and fire up the printer!
You’ll need the following colors:
- red
- yellow
- blue
- green
- purple
- pink
- orange
- white
If you don’t have white crayons, kids can simply leave these spaces uncolored. And, you can also encourage kids to assign their own colors to numbers to experiment more with the picture!
