Here’s a fun way to help the kids remember all that they’re thankful for this Thanksgiving. Download the Count Your Blessings from A to Z printable and see how many letters everyone can come up with.
Obviously, we spend a lot of the day on Thanksgiving gearing up for our big, delicious feast. But, we also make sure we spend some time, usually right before we eat, talking with our kids about how blessed we are.
It’s so easy to take all of the little things for granted. But, at the end of the day, we have a lot to be thankful for.
That’s why I love this A to Z gratitude activity so much.
Modeling gratitude is a great way to show kids how to focus on appreciating what they have, instead of focusing on what they don’t have.
Sit down with the kids and a few of these printables. Then, you can either create your own individual lists, or work together to create one big family list what you’re thankful for this year.
Can you come with something for every letter? Think of the people in your lives. The experiences you’ve had this year. What have you accomplished? How has your life been blessed?
