25 Gorgeous Plants to Grow Indoors for Any Space in Your Home

Folks, you need a plant in your home. No. You need many plants in your home.

If you already have some of this gorgeous greenery around, then you can just skip on down to the pretty pictures and get some ideas of which plant you’d like to add next to your collection.

If you’re like me and were afraid to bring anything live home for the fear of watching it die a slow and painful death, then let’s talk for a sec.

First, it’s time go get past the fear.  Repeat after me: I CAN take care of plants. I can set a reminder to water a plant when needed. I can read the plant’s directions and put it a place in my home where it can be happy.

That’s it – That is the key to caring for a plant!

Now, embrace all of the wonderfulness that your plant will provide. Things like better air quality and a sunnier disposition. Yes – plants help us feel good! Except when we kill them, that makes us sad. But don’t even think about that, because we’re going to make sure that doesn’t happen.

The two most important things you need to keep your plant happy are the right amount of light and the right amount of water. You can find the best plants to grow indoors for any room in your home, as long as you match up the right plant to the right space.

We’ve found the perfect plants for the various conditions in your home. Go ahead and scroll through our list, then we’ll talk more about care at the bottom.

low light plants to grow indoors

The plants in this list will need some light, just not too much. A good place for low-light plants to hang out would be a northern window, which gets indirect light throughout the day, but never gets direct sunlight.
